Material Yard
Our 30-acre facility is stocked with one of the largest and most exclusive inventories of natural stone products. We search the world over for our unique selection of natural stone. We carry an extensive inventory of sandstone, limestone, travertine, granite, and much, much more.
Over time, our product line has grown to include an extensive variety of products. In addition to the landscape supply essentials of soil mixes and decorative rock, Wheeler Zamaroni carries an outstanding lineup of pavers, natural and manufactured stone, eco-friendly products, custom-mixed soils, mulches and soil-less growing media, and specialty items.
Stone Fabrication
Wheeler Zamaroni provides custom stone fabrication services for all of your special projects. From simple projects like drilling basalt columns to complex and detailed designs for swimming pools, spas, and fireplace surrounds, we can custom fabricate your stone project to the most exacting standards. Whether you’re an architect, designer or plan to DIY, we can help you create a custom piece that will be the highlight of your project.
Our expert stone fabricators can transform marble, granite, sandstone and more into finished pieces for applications such as paving, walls, wall caps, pool coping, pilasters, window surrounds, fireplaces, and much more. Finishes can range from sawn, split, tumbled, bush hammered, thermal treated, sand or water blasted and hand carved.
Consulting & Product Selection
Unlike quarries which may only have one product line, Wheeler Zamaroni has a large range of landscaping, natural stone products and building materials to choose from. Being able to touch and see the different stone and landscape product options all in one place gives you a better sense of the range of materials available for use in your project (such as Aggregates, Pavers, Natural Stone, Retaining Walls). We can give you samples to make sure you’re happy with your selection. You can even purchase small amounts of products that you are considering to create mock-ups of your project at its location. We work hard to make sure that you’re happy with your product selection the first time, and every time.
Budget and deadlines are critical to any project. Our product consultants will help you save time and money by bringing samples to your office, job site or home – anyplace that’s convenient for you. We offer pre-construction meetings at your site or in our offices. We can also assist with design, reviewing submittals, making product recommendations and conducting training seminars for your staff. Wheeler Zamaroni can help you make your project a success by making sure you have the best products, in the right quantities, delivered on time!
Delivery
Need your products delivered? We can get it there, fast! Wheeler Zamaroni maintains a large fleet of transfer, bobtail and flatbed trucks with forklifts to deliver your project materials throughout the Bay Area. Our most requested products for delivery are:
- soil, mulch, and bark
- aggregate stone
- pavers
- natural stone
- concrete
We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver your materials on time, every time. Through our network of transportation companies, we can even ensure deliveries of select materials from our inventory throughout the United States.
Special Order
Wheeler Zamaroni has one of the largest selections of natural stone and landscape materials in Northern California – but we can’t carry it all.  If you need something special for your landscaping or building project that isn’t in stock, we can get it for you. Our experienced sales staff knows just how to find what you need if we don’t already carry it.
We carry a large inventory of specialty soil mixes. And, we can custom mix any product to your specifications or requirements.
Eco-Friendly
Wheeler Zamaroni is Environmentally friendly as well. We accept the following materials:
- Broken concrete (free of debris and with minimal rebar)
- Asphalt
- Clean, unpainted sheet rock
- Hydro Vac Slurry and Stone Slurry
From those materials we can provide Eco-Friendly, recycled products.
- Recycled Gypsum which is derived from clean sheet rock we accept and then process at our facility. Recycled gypsum is often used as fertilizer for vineyards.
- Recycled Base Rock that we process from the broken concrete and asphalt that is received at our facility. This material is often used as a base for under concrete or retaining walls.
- Recycled Drain Rock is also processed from the broken concrete and asphalt that is received at our facility. Recycled Drain Rock can be used as fill or behind retaining wall blocks.
- Filter Press Cakes which are processed by filtering and pressing the water out of Hydro Vac and Stone Slurry. The cakes can then be re-introduced into our soil mixes.
